Can anybody be in two places at once? Did we figure out how to do it? 

Kansas City based artist Laura Hopper and I sent each other on explorations of our cities: Oakland (for me) and St. Louis (for her). We used psychogeography, an approach to geography that emphasizes playfulness and “drifting” around urban environments. The results were transformative for both of us.
