I think one of the milestones that should be marked in the life of a kid is this: the making of the first Lego contraption all by himself. Enn ripped open his little Lego box, poured out all the pieces, read the booklet, and made this Star Wars fighter! He's actually taken it apart and put it back together several times since this picture. Another milestone that I hope is reached: the ability to keep track of all those tiny pieces!
