Bedrest

On strict bedrest as of today! These contractions!I get to be strictly confined to bedrest, not even getting up for meals at the table. So glad for netflix, latptop, wireless connection, my mom living here now so she takes over Enn.So glad I had an amazing weekend with GK taking me to San Francisco, and (I swear it was only a little bit of walking for a couple blocks altogether over the weekend! And this before we knew there was a problem!) and we stayed in a boutique hotel in Union Square, had this amazing exquisite dinner at Farralon (the interior was a dreamlike underwater mosiac perfecto everything) and then GK took me to a theater around the corner to see a musical Tribute to the Rat Pack and the best part was the Sinatra music, and we had fun! He splurged big time, the whole thing was a surprise... And I am THRILLED that I got to have fun for just one weekend before the dreaded....BEDREST.I cried on the way to the OB office today, knowing this was the likely outcome after a day with contractions.I had no idea until I was counting more contractions in the afternoon, and thought to call the OB.Then I rested on the couch and noted every single contraction, and had 11 in 2 hours. In case anyone's wondering, I was ASSURED that I didn't do too much this weekend, didn't do more than I should have, because I did just as much as any normal pregnant woman can do.I'm only 28 weeks pregnant! (i.e. I have 3 months till my due date)It's gone so well up to this point!Anyway, pray for me etc.Hopefully, this test that I took at the OB office this afternoon doesn't come back positive.Coz if it does, then I'll be admitted at John Muir hospital by the end of this evening.I'll post again soon in case you're worried.Gonna rest now.
