Where are the people headed, and why are they going there? Are they running from something or towards something? When I paint, I’m asking questions rather than answering them. How can I depict a landscape that’s formed by the people?

Progress (2016-2017)
How do I know when I’m making progress? Is it a destination or a process? Do I want to go where I’m going? The future is uncertain, time is unrelenting, and I’m trying to make peace with where I am right now.
